Parakaleo is a place to gather the stories of a loved one's life — the laughter, the ordinary moments, the things the people who knew them hold close. Friends and family can record a short video, leave a voice note, or write a memory. We weave it into a single archive a family can keep forever.
We're in pre-launch. The platform is being used today to honor a life and will open to other families soon. It will always be free for grieving families to use, and the code is open-source so no one pays for the right to remember.
Behind the scenes, transcribing voices, storing photos and video, and keeping everything online has real costs. If Parakaleo helped your family — or you'd like to help another family use it — you're welcome to chip in whatever feels right. Pay what you can, or nothing at all. Both are okay.
